The GDPR Foundation certification course will provide a comprehensive introduction and practical understanding of the GDPR obligations, including implementation implications, legal requirements and how to implement the regulation within your organization. The course will further focus on the practical application (Foundation) and the material substance of the GDPR Articles for GDPR execution, including scope, approach, structure, data flows and mapping, to ensure ongoing compliance (Application & Substance).

During the course, we will go through the process of implementation to ensure EU GDPR compliance, and how you can help your company avoid additional work, and loss of reputation resulting from data breaches.

The GDPR Foundation training programme will give participants the opportunity to get complete guidance, ask questions and group discuss on key GDPR issues. The examination consists of a multiple-choice test covering a broad range of relevant GDPR knowledge and topics that are dealt with, in this advanced GDPR DPO training course.

    • Privacy by Design and Default
    • The What, When and How of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
    • Conducting data audits
    • Training and competence requirements
    • Incident response and breach reporting
    • Updating policies and procedures
    • The multi-jurisdictional and territorial scope of the EU GDPR
    • International data transfers.

Certification

The certification is offered in co-operation with our training partner, The EUGDPR Institute. The certification is optional and can be taken online right after the workshop or within the next day of the course. Individuals wishing to obtain the certificate must:

  • Complete the one-day classroom training.
  • Study the course materials provided during the training.
  • Take the multiple-choice examination.

The validity of the certification is two years.
All participants of the course will be given a Certificate of Attendance.
